Police record of events during the terror attack that left four dead at a synagogue in Jerusalem's Har Nof neighborhood.

Jerusalem Police said Tuesday that they first heard a report about the attack at 7:01 a.m., when they received a dispatch call about gunshots heard on Agassi street in the Har Nof neighborhood.Police said that by 7:08 a.m. traffic officers in the vicinity arrived at the scene and began approaching the synagogue and the attackers inside. An officer from the forensic affairs department of the National Police Headquarters also arrived at the scene moments later, where he found an officer suffering from a gunshot wound, police said.The officers saw the two attackers armed with knives and a handgun running around inside the yeshiva, and opened fire, killing both men.Once the two attackers were neutralized, the two police entered the building along with a large number of officers, who began combing the surroundings for other potential attackers, police said.Chief Inspector "A", was quoted saying that "I heard the report on my radio about gunshots in Har Nof while I was at the entrance to Jerusalem. From there I drove quickly to the crime scene, and saw cops approaching the entrance of the yeshiva. I approached and made my way to the entrance, where I saw an officer who was shot and two terrorists with kitchen knives covered in blood and a pistol running towards us. We opened fire on them and stopped them."During the incident, one of the officers was critically wounded and the other moderately hurt.
