A 47-year-old man drowned in a mikva that belongs to the Satmar hassidic community in Even Hazel street Jerusalem on Monday.Magen David Adom medics and paramedics have treated the man at the scene, and performed resuscitation treatment, which ended by declaring the death of the man.The circumstances of the drowning are still unknown.An eye witness told “Kikar Hashabat” news portal said after the incident: “We noticed that one of the people who came to the mikva, a Sephardic man, is not coming out of the water for quite a long time. We tried calling him, but he didn't respond. We understood that something is happening and immediately called rescuing forces.”
