Arab man wounded during November Jerusalem terrorist attack dies

60-year-old east Jerusalem resident was struck by car used to kill Border Police officer, yeshiva student and wound 13 others at light rail stop in November.

Roughly one month after being struck by a van driven by an east Jerusalem terrorist that killed a Border Police officer, yeshiva student and wounded 13 others in the capital, a 60-year-old Palestinian man died of his wounds, bringing the death toll to three.
Abd al-Karim Nafith Hamid, a resident of the north-east Jerusalem neighborhood of Anata, was seriously wounded when 38-year-old Shuafat resident Ibrahim al-Aqari plowed his vehicle into officers and civilians at the Ammunition Hill light rail stop on November 5.

Jidan Assad, 38, a father of a three-year-old son, whose wife is pregnant with their second child, died shortly after being struck. Yeshiva student Shalom Aharon Ba’adani, 17, who was critically wounded while riding his bicycle to the Western Wall, died two days later.
Aqari, a Hamas operative, was shot to death by an officer stationed near the primarily ultra-Orthodox neighborhood of Shmuel Hanavi, which straddles the Green Line adjacent to Sheikh Jarrah.
During the attack, Hamid sustained multiple fractures to his spine and feet, and had a heart attack shortly afterwards, the Ma’an News Agency said.
His widow told the news agency that the father of 12 remained in intensive care at an area hospital and underwent multiple surgeries before dying on Sunday.
Of the 13 other wounded Israelis, three were transferred to Hadassah University Medical Center in Jerusalem’s Ein Kerem in moderate condition, while another was in a serious condition.
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu accused Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas of inciting the attack by claiming the Israeli government intended to take over the Temple Mount.
