UN: Sudanese forces attack Darfur refugee camp

The UN has received reports that Sudanese government forces have attacked a Darfur refugee camp and that civilians have been killed, according to a statement issued Monday. Sudanese police vehicles surrounded the Kalma camp in southern Darfur, the statement said, and subsequent attacks reportedly caused "injuries and deaths of civilians." Another statement from the aid group Doctors Without Borders said that at least 65 wounded had been admitted to one of its clinics nearby.
