State Dept.: Bush won't mention Syria, Golan in speech

US President George W. Bush will not mention Syria or the future of the Golan Heights in his speech at the Annapolis peace parley Tuesday, Channel 10 reported.
According to the report, a senior State Department official said that while neither Bush nor US Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice would address the Syrian issue, they would not prevent the Syrian representative to the conference from doing so.
