Report: Factory blast in Turkey kills 2, injures 5

An explosion at a factory near the Turkish capital of Ankara Thursday has killed at least two people and injured five others, according to media reports. One of the injured was badly hurt in the blast in the boiler room of a dairy products factory in the town of Cubuk in Ankara province, private NTV television said, citing officials from the governor's office. Other media, including state-run news agency Anatolia, confirmed the explosion and the number of dead. The cause of the explosion early Thursday was unclear. An explosion at an unlicensed fireworks factory in January killed 20 people and injured more than 100 in Istanbul. In 2005, a series of explosions at a fireworks depot in Istanbul killed six people.
