A camp housing Tamil Tiger rebel suicide cadres in northern Sri Lanka was bombed Saturday by government air force planes, the military said.
The camp was located in Iranamadu, close to the rebel stronghold, Kilinochchi, military spokesman Maj. Upali Rajapakse said.
He said the camp suffered "heavy damage," but exact details were not available.
