Official: 3 Western women killed in Afghan attack

An Afghan police official says a militant ambush has killed three Western women from an American aid organization. Abdullah Khan, the deputy counterterrorism director in Logar province, says the three worked for the aid group International Rescue Committee, a New York-based organization. Khan says the women's Afghan driver was also killed. Abdul Majid Latifi, deputy provincial police chief, says the dead women included an American, a Canadian and an Irish national.
