Indonesians burn Israeli flag to protest Gaza op

Hundreds of Muslims torched Israeli and US flags in Indonesia's second-largest city on Saturday to protest Israel's military operation in the Gaza Strip. The demonstrators briefly scuffled with police at the rally in front of the US mission in Surabaya, 800 kilometers east of the capital, Jakarta, after trying to enter the building. "The world has to stop the Israeli invasion," said Abdul Rohim, who helped organize the 300-strong protest. "Otherwise, the Jews and America will continue attacking Palestine and Muslims all over the world."
