Court convicts 7 Bosnian Serbs of genocide in Srebrenica

A court has convicted seven Bosnian Serbs of genocide committed in Srebrenica in 1995 and issued long prison sentences. Another four who were charged have been acquitted.
Issuing their first sentence in a crime related to the worst massacre committed in Europe after World War II, judges of the Bosnian war crimes court on Tuesday sent three former soldiers and policemen to jail for 42 years, another three for 40 years and one for 38 years.
The seven been found guilty of killing of more than 1,000 captured Muslim Bosniak men after Bosnian Serb forces conquered the eastern Bosnian town of Srebrenica.
