California synagogue vandalized with antisemitic grafitti

A synagogue in California was defaced with antisemitic graffiti, California local police reported on Wednesday, less than a week after the deadliest antisemitic shooting in United States history in Pittsburgh.Vandals sprayed antisemitic insults across the Beth Jacob Congregation's walls, such as "F*** Jews." Beth Jacob Congregation is located at Irvine, California. The police reported that the crime took place overnight.Police increased their presence around the synagogue as a result of the incident.

As reported by the NBC Los Angeles, Irvine PD said in a statement that "the men and women of the Irvine Police Department denounce, in the strongest terms, this type of hateful act. We are committed to our mission, working in partnership with the community to preserving the peace."Last Saturday, Eeeven worshipers were gunned down by a man who stormed into the Tree of Life Synagogue in Pittsburgh and opened fire, yelling antisemitic statements including: "All Jews must die." He was charged with 44 counts of crime, including murder and religious hate crimes.
