Accessibility is in Our Nature

At KKL-JNF, every day is International Accessibility Day. Around Israel, you can find KKL-JNF forests, parks and tourism sites that are accessible to visitors of all abilities.

KKL-JNF is creating a new reality by making it possible for people with physical limitations to spend time in open spaces and feel close to nature.

In recent years, KKL-JNF has been investing great efforts and resources, with the support of its friends worldwide, in creating forests and recreation areas specially designed for people with physical limitations, taking into consideration their functional needs so that they can get around comfortably and safely.

Steps taken to open nature to everybody include building wheelchair-friendly trails, accessible parking, toilet and picnic facilities, signage and information posts for the visual and hearing-impaired, holding fun days for people with disabilities and their families, and much more.
