The UN High Commissioner for Human Rights in the Occupied Territories, Michael Link, called on Israel Saturday to release Maher al-Akhars, a Palestinian Islamic Jihad operative, who is currently engaged in a hunger strike.
Link also demanded that Israel stop using administrative detention, which he says does not comply with international law.
