Israeli tourists will be allowed to enter the UK freely starting from May 17th, the UK Transport Secretary announced on Friday.

The announcement comes as the UK revealed a list of 12 "green countries" whose citizens will be allowed to enter and exit the UK without needing to follow quarantine restrictions.
Vaccinated Israelis returning from the UK must present a negative COVID-19 PCR test upon arrival, and do not need to go into isolation.
The UK decision follows a similar announcement from the EU, who on Thursday recommended that travel restrictions for Israeli tourists be lifted in all their member states.
Germany will being allowing in Israeli tourists within the next few days, N12 reported.
While foreign citizens cannot currently enter the country for tourism related reasons, it is expected that from July 2021 vaccinated tourists from specific countries such as the UK, Greece, the UAE, and the US, will be allowed to enter the country.
