Two fires break out in Netanya, one due to lithium battery ignition

Two fires broke out in Netanya on Thursday night, the Fire and Rescue Service's spokesperson reported.

The first fire broke due to the igniting of a lithium battery. The fire was put out by the tenant of the home where it broke out. She sustained light injuries from the smoke and was treated.

Later that night firefighters were called to another home in Netanya where one of the rooms was severely damaged but none of the residents were hurt.
