Train traffic from Tel Aviv to Lod suspended amid escalation

Train traffic from Tel Aviv Hagana station to Lod has been suspended on Thursday amid the current escalation within the mixed Jewish and Arab city.
Trains on the suburban track for the Binyamina-Tel Aviv-Rehovot-Ashkelon line are operating between Binyamina and Tel Aviv Hagana only.
Trains running along the first Lod-Rishon Lezion lines, covering Netanya-Beit Shemesh-Dimona-Ben Gurion University of the Negev, will not be in operation on Thursday.
Shuttles, however, will be operating between these locations, and other stations in the southern region.
All train traffic between Beersheba and Ashkelon had been shut down earlier in the day on the instruction of Home Front Command.
Travel between Ashdod and Ashkelon will be modified for the time being.
