Stormy weather raises Kinneret water level by 4 centimeters

After a snowy weekend in the Golan Heights and as rains battered the rest of the country, Lake Kinneret benefit from a much needed precipitation boost during the ongoing winter storm.
The basin's water level rose 4 cm., stabilizing the reservoir at its "lower red line," and leaving it 4.2 meters away from full capacity, according to the Water Authority.
After close to 100 mm. of rain fail in the Golan and Galilee region, flows have returned to both the stagnant streams of the region and to the Jordan River, the authority added.
