Report: Syria resolution reveals split in Arab League

A resolution that would suspend Syria from the Arab League has revealed a split in the regional body on Sunday, Al Arabiya reported.Chief among the opposing nations are Yemen, Algeria, and Lebanon, an Al Arabiya correspondent said.Syrian President Bashar Assad has intensified a military crackdown to crush protests demanding his resignation. The United Nations says the crackdown has killed 3,000 people.
