Report: Police to drop case against High Court judge

The case against Supreme Court Justice Yoram Danziger, who was questioned due to his ties with Bat Yam Mayor Shlomo Lahiani, will be dropped in the coming days, Channel 10 news reported Wednesday.

According to the report, the police prosecutor decided to end investigations against Danziger, but it was unclear whether the reason was the lack of evidence or the High Court judge's innocence.

Danziger was the first sitting Supreme Court justice in Israeli history to be questioned under caution as part of a criminal investigation.
