Rabbi Elyashiv hospitalized in J'lem in critical condition

Well known leader of the Lithuanian Orthodox community, Rav Yosef Sholom Elyashiv, 101 was hospitalized on Sunday after feeling ill. The rabbi is currently being treated at Saari Tzedek Hospital in Jerusalem.
The Rabbi has been hospitalized a few times last year and is suffering from various respiratory problems as well as low blood pressure. He has been undergoing tests and doctors continue working to stabilize his condition and clearing fluid in his lungs.

Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu called United Torah Judaism MK Moshe Gafni to send his regards to Elyashiv, according to Israel Radio.
