Police question well-known singer for extortion, conspiracy

Officers of the National Fraud Investigative Branch of the Israel Police brought in a well-known Israeli singer for questioning on Sunday morning, due to suspicions that he made threats against his former personal manager.
Police did not release the name of the singer on Sunday, but said that after he was taken in for questioning on Sunday morning he was released on bond.
The singer is reportedly being questioned on charges of making threats and conspiracy to commit a crime.
Last Summer, popular Mizrachi singer Margolit Tzanani, was arrested on charges that she hired an underworld figure to try and extort money from a former manager. A few months later, she entered a plea bargain in which she confessed to extortion and was given six months community service.
