Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu on Monday defended new construction in east Jerusalem that has drawn international condemnation.Netanyahu said the building of a new Israeli enclave in the Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood is a private project "in accordance with Israeli law.""Israel will not impose a ban on Jews purchasing private property in Jerusalem,"Netanyahu continued.Netanyahu went on to explain that Arabs can buy or rent property in Jewish neighborhoods.
