Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas extended the state of emergency in the Palestinian Authority (PA) for 30 additional days beginning Sunday, Shehab reported.
The PA declared a national emergency last week in light of the coronavirus outbreak.
"The respective authorities will continue to take all necessary measures to address the dangers arising from the coronavirus, protect public health and guarantee security and stability," the decree signed by Abbas said.
