Netanyahu wishes Muslims 'a blessed Ramadan and easy fast'

Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu released a statement wishing Israeli Muslims "a blessed Ramadan," on Wednesday evening.

"We mark this important month with days of trying to reach direct negotiations with the Palestinians and promote peace agreements with our Arab neighbors," Netanyahu said. "I know that you are partners in this goal, and I hope you will support us in prayer and in any effort that we can make together in order to reach true co-existence in peace and harmony."

"Have an easy fast," the prime minister added.
