Netanyahu says that Russia and Israel are 'involved in struggle against radical Islam'

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu met with Russian president Vladimir Putin on Monday, saying that the two nations are involved in a huge struggle against extremist Islam.
"This is something that brings us together, in addition to the many other things that unite us," Netanyahu said.
"I believe that the incidents of the past few days prove the importance of the coordination between us. Our strategic military coordination, our attempts to cooperate are done in order to prevent accidents and unnecessary tragedies. I believe we have succeeded. That is important," the prime minister added.
"We believe that it is in our power to cooperate in the right way on the ground and in the air so that the problems being experienced now will not happen again."
