Netanyahu hails Israel-India ties ahead of historic Modi visit

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu hailed on Monday the historic first visit by a sitting Indian prime minister, the day before Narendra Modi arrives in Israel.
Netanyahu stated that the visit represented the bolstered ties between Jerusalem and New Delhi in recent years.
"This visit will strengthen cooperation in a wide range of areas - security, agriculture, water, energy - in fact, in almost every field that Israeli is involved in," Netanyahu said. "I will accompany the prime minister at several events during the visit, in a matter as such the leader of the largest democracy in the world should be respected."
