Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu took aim Monday at the publisher of the widespread circulation tabloid Yedioth Ahronoth whom he accuses of “orchestrating a witch-hunt against me and my wife in an effort to topple the Likud government that I head.”
The move was unusual in that Netanyahu used his Twitter account to criticize the publisher, Noni Mozes, by name.
“The time has come to put it all out there,” the premier tweeted. “The main individual responsible for the wave of slanders against me and my wife is Noni Mozes, the publisher of Yedioth Ahronoth and [its popular web site] Ynet.”
