TheEnvironmental Protection Ministry will launch a campaign to raise the public'sawareness to the connection between sustainable living and the consumer choicesit makes every day. The ministry announced Wednesday that Dan-Oren CommunicationsConsulting and Strategy had won the tender to run the campaign. Beginning inDecember, the campaign will appear on TV, in print and on the Internet.
"Ourconsumption patterns have a large impact on the environment,"Environmental Protection Minister Gilad Erdan (Likud) said in a statement,"starting from correct use of transportation, electricity, enlightenedconsumption, recycling and more. The public expects to receive information thatwill help live an environmental friendly and conservationist lifestyle. Thiscampaign is an important tool of the ministry to bring the public into thediscourse about environmental issues."
