Man allegedly pretends to be millionaire, deceives models

A 30-year-old Netanya man was arrested Tuesday on suspicion that he acted as a millionaire and deceived fashion companies and models.

The suspect pretended that he wanted to invest in fashion photo shoots, according to police reports, but began taking money from those involved without their agreement.

He is suspected of defrauding models by falsely promising to help with their promotion.

Tel Aviv district fraud division reported that the man promised he would marry two women but went back on his word after taking large amounts of money from them.
