Leader of URP to Netanyahu: Bring Pollard home

Leader of URP rabbi Rafi Peretz called on Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to “bring [Jonathan] Pollard back home,” Arutz Sheva reported on Sunday evening.

Pollard was recruited by late spy-master Rafi Eitan and provided Israel with valuable information. He was caught and sentenced by the US in 1987 and released in 2015.

Pollard is unable to leave NYC until 2020 under the conditions of his parole.

Eitan also requested Netanyahu speak with US President Donald Trump about recognizing Israeli sovereignty in the West Bank, which he called Judea and Samaria “our historical home.”
