Ayatollah Abdolhossein Moezi, the Iranian Supreme Leader's representative in Britain and director of the Islamic Centre of England said that Muslims serving in the British armed forces should resign their posts, according to an interview published in The Times of London on Saturday. Moezi reportedly added that neither Muslims nor Christians should be fighting in Afghanistan or Iraq. "We say that Muslims are not allowed to go and kill Muslims. Do you think that Christians are allowed to go and kill Muslims?" While the Iranian representative condemned the terrorist attacks of 9/11 and the London bombings, as well as last week's Fort Hood massacre, he claimed those attacks were used by "the forces of 'Zionist imperialism'" to attack Islam and its followers. On Teheran's nuclear ambitions, Moezi was quoted as saying that "The fact that Iran is entitled to use atomic energy has been admitted by the whole world."
