Israeli man suspected of impersonating police officer, 'spreading a disease'

A resident of southern Israel named Dekel Shashunker is suspected of impersonating a police officer, fraud and “spreading a disease”, a Tel Aviv court cleared for publication Thursday, two weeks after the he was arrested.
Though a Tel Aviv judge on Wednesday cleared Shashunker’s name for publication, as per a police request, he also issued a gag order banning publication of the disease that he is suspected of spreading.
Tel Aviv police believe Shashunker posed as an undercover police officer in order to sleep with a 17-year-old girl against her will, and that he used the same method against other young women.
Police are currently searching for additional victims who may have fallen victim to the scam and have asked the public for assistance.
