IDF Chief of Staff Aviv Kohavi will travel to the United States on Saturday following a security assessment in light of rising tensions between Israel and Hamas, Ynet news reported.
The trip will be the first delegation to visit the US since the beginning of Prime Minister Naftali Bennett's term in office.
