Herzog speaks with Mahmoud Abbas about peace, continued contact

President Isaac Herzog spoke on the phone with Palestinian Authority (PA) President Mahmoud Abbas on Sunday evening.Abbas called Herzog to congratulate him on becoming president. Herzog thanked him and spoke of his hope that they would remain in constant contact and the hope of peace between their people.They also discussed former president Reuven Rivlin and the hope that Herzog and Abbas will meet in the near future.
