Gunfire in Ashdod apartment seriously wounds 21-year-old man

A 21-year-old man was seriously wounded and lost consciousness from gunfire Saturday evening in an apartment in Ashdod.
Paramedics provided preliminary medical assistance before evacuating the man to a hospital.
Police were investigating the incident.
