Good news for New Year: IBA NEWS in English returns Sunday-Thursday

Fans of the IBA News in English who bemoaned the fact that it had been cut back to once a week, now have reason to rejoice.  As of this coming Sunday, January 3, the IBA  News in  English will be back on  air from Sunday to Thursday and broadcasting at 4 p.m. on Channel 33.
The daily program was taken off the air nearly two months ago for lack of manpower.  Because the IBA is in liquidation, new staff could not be hired, although it is possible that with only three people running the show, that an exception may be made with a view to bringing in an additional anchor.
The IBA English News, which was brought back due to intense public pressure, is currently staffed by Efrat Battat, Arieh O’Sullivan and Margot Dudkevitch.
Both O’Sullivan and Dudkevitch are former reporters for The Jerusalem Post covering mainly military affairs.  At the IBA, they cover everything.
