Gantz: IDF ready for any scenario in West Bank, but doesn't wish for escalation

Defense Minister Benny Gantz released a statement that if the terror groups in the Gaza Strip continue to barrage Israel with rockets that the Defense Ministry will decide to cancel aid to Palestinians meant to alleviate the stress on their economy.

He added that the IDF is deployed and operating in the West Bank amid the rise in tensions between Israel and Gaza, and threats of solidarity protests across in some neighboring countries.

Gantz said that Israel has no interest in an escalation within the West Bank, but it is ready for any scenario.
