Gabriela Shalev criticizes Lieberman's UN speech

Gabriela Shalev, former Israeli ambassador to the UN, on Thursday criticized Foreign Minister Avigdor Lieberman's speech at the UN General Assembly last month by apologizing for the non-diplomatic speech, Israel Radio reported.
She said she was very surprised that he said what he did.
Shalev told Israel Radio that she was lucky she had already announced the end of her tenure and was not forced to hear the foreign minister and Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu talk about subjects that contradict her position on certain issues.
