Elkin: Early elections are a 'tolerable scenario'

Coalition chairman Ze'ev Elkin (Likud) said that while Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu was still looking for a way to pass a budget for the coming year, holding early elections is a "tolerable scenario" if no agreement on a budget can be reached, speaking with Army Radio Wednesday.
Addressing rumors that Defense Minister Ehud Barak (Independence) was looking to secure from the Likud a spot in the next government, Elkin denied such a process was taking place. Barak's true positions are different than those of the Likud, Elikin added, saying it is not his place.
