Deputy minister Kara calls on Israel to send aid to Syrians

Deputy Regional Development Minister Ayoub Kara (Likud) said Monday that Israel should join western nations sending humanitarian aid to the people of Syria.Kara was quoted by Israel Radio as saying he brought the idea to Prime Minster Binyamin Netanyahu, who responded that the issue should be seriously considered.He stated that Israel should listen to Syria's opposition who has said that they will cut the countries relations with Iran and attempt to reacquire the Golan Heights only through negotiation.
