2,386 new cases of the novel coronavirus were reported in Israel on Tuesday, with 659 patients in serious condition, according to a Wednesday morning update by the Health Ministry.
3.42% of tests returned positive.
Of those infected, 216 were on ventilators. The death toll stood at 7,692.
3,256,978 Israelis had received the third dose of the coronavirus vaccine as of Wednesday morning.
