The amount of people worldwide confirmed to have been infected with the novel coronavirus has crossed the 100 million mark, Johns Hopkins University reported on Tuesday evening.
The worldwide death toll stands at nearly 2.15 million, with approximately 1 in 5 deaths coming from the United states.
