Construction worker dies after elevator collapses on 41st floor

A 30-year-old construction worker died on Sunday after an external elevator at a construction site collapsed and fell from the forty-first story of a 42-story tower in Tel Aviv, Fire and Rescue Services reported.

Another construction worker, who was trapped inside the elevator, was lightly injured in the incident and rescued by firefighters.

Police have opened an investigation into the incident.
