Bahrain says frees 86 held after martial law

DUBAI - Bahrain released 86 people held under martial law regulations in the Gulf Arab state, the official news agency BNA said on Monday.
The agency said "legal measures" were taken against the detainees under martial law rules, without clarifying whether they had been freed on bail and still faced charges, or not.
Since the crackdown, the opposition group Wefaq has said over 400 people have been detained.
