US defense secretary spoke with Israeli counterpart on Friday, Pentagon says

US Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin spoke with Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Gallant on Friday, the Pentagon said.

According to the report, the two discussed efforts to maintain regional stability, among other issues.
