The government on Tuesday approved the mobilization of up to 360,000 IDF reservists to continue Israel's ongoing fight against the Gaza-based Hamas terrorist group, Israeli media reported.
The mobilization order came following a situational assessment held remotely by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu with Defense Minister Yoav Gallant, IDF Chief of Staff Herzi Halevi, Mossad director David Barnea, Strategic Affairs Minister Ron Dermer, Shin Bet (Israel Security Agency) head Ronen Bar, National Security Adviser Tzachi Hanegbi, and others.
