Hundreds protested against the government in front of the Eretz Israel Museum in Tel Aviv, in a protest organized by a group of IDF reservists.

The protesters hung an oversized copy of the Declaration of Independence from the roof of the museum and intended to hold a demonstration and a march, led by retired IDF artillery officers.

Transportation Minister Miri Regev and Construction and Housing Minister Yitzhak Goldknopf participated in a conference at the museum later in the day.

Goldknopf left the stage during his speech after a number of protesters in the crowd began shouting "shame" and "go home" in his direction.

Netanyahu not expected to come

Prime Minister Netanyahu and Justice Minister Yariv Levin were expected to arrive as well but canceled their participation. The Prime Minister's Office denied that the protests were the reason for the cancellation, while Levin's office stated that the reason for his non-arrival was due to scheduling considerations.

This is is the third time Netanyahu has recently canceled public appearances because of protests, according to Walla!

Netanyahu was supposed to participate in the graduation ceremony of the IDF Navy captain's course and to speak at a conference for the rights of people with disabilities but didn't participate in either one.

At the same time, a car convoy made its way to the Knesset in Jerusalem, to protest the expected vote on the reform bill regarding the judge selection committee by the Constitution, Law and Justice Committee.

The police closed off Kaplan street in Jerusalem's government district because of the protest.

Dozens also protested at a mall in Kfar Saba against the expected arrival of Culture and Sports Minister Miki Zohar at a cultural event in a cinema.
