Arab League is 'skeptical' of Israeli intention for peace process

The Arab League expressed its support on Sunday to the Palestinian stance for the resumption of peace talks with Israel, but expressed skepticism of Israel's intentions, AFP reported.
"Many in the Israeli government do not want an Arab peace initiative," said Mohammed Sabih, the Arab League's deputy secretary general for Palestinian affairs. He added that the Arab League was monitoring Israel's stance to ensure the talks are not "negotiations for the sake of negotiations."
