A senior Afghan intelligence official said a military aircraft has crashed into the country's northern mountains. Provincial intelligence chief Abdul Majid Azimi said the aircraft went down Thursday in the mountains of Baghlan province. He had no details on casualties or what caused the crash. Azimi said it was unclear whether the aircraft was an airplane or a helicopter, as one of his deputies initially reported. NATO forces spokesman Lt. J.G. Tommy Groves said the international coalition had no reports of any military aircraft having crashed - including those belonging to NATO's International Security Assistance Force and the Afghan National Army.
