American band Firewater, who play an eclectic mix of music with influences from klezmer and gypsy tunes, will perform two special shows at the end of the month in Tel Aviv after a four year absence from the Israeli stage.Israeli talents such as Oren Kaplan (Gogol Bordello) and Tamir Muskat (Balkan Beat Box) have contributed over the years to the self-described "world punk" band, founded in New York by former Cop Shoot Cop front-man Tod A.The band, which combines elements of jazz, cabaret, folk and ska, will perform in Israel as part of their European tour in honor of their new album "International Orange." The band is no stranger to Israel, with their latest album being recorded in Tel Aviv, as well as Istanbul, during 2011.The two shows in Tel Aviv will take place at the Ozen Bar under the framework of a partnership formed between the alternative music venue and The Golan Heights winery under the name "Gamla Performances Line."
